Last night we bore witness to one hell of a lot of fun. We were treated to TWO shorts, one called “The Tragic Story of Nling” which was a fantastical and fantastic story done entirely with paper but actual actors. I know it sounds unusual, but trust me, it works. The visuals were enticing and the story quite strange but there was enough depth played with the characters that the audience was sucked in to this paper world where booze and garbage ruled the day. I couldn’t take my eyes off the screen because of the magic that played before me. Director Jeffrey St. Jules was on hand to give a quick introduction.

We also watched a two minute animated short called “Sweet Strangers” which was amusing as all hell, and introduced us to the hero known only as “Chocolate Man”. Tons of fun with that one.

We experienced a bit of technical difficulty so bear with us as we sort this out but in the meantime here is the first of three clips. This one is from before the film. Sorry for the last minute and a half there folks.
