Renerd.com at the Toronto Zombie Walk

Wow what a day. I remember when we went to the Zombie Walk last year, it was cold and rainy, and when we first arrived there were maybe 5 zombies sitting around sharing a toke. Well we began the interviews and it seems like every time we looked up, the numbers doubled, then tripled. It turned out to be a smash success.

While this year, there was no “Thriller” video re-enactment, there were filmmakers and crews and onlookers and a Dirty Hippie Parade. It was an amazing sight to behold and everyone looked fantastic. My personal favourites were “Underwater Zombie”, “Newlyweds”, and “Freaky Tall British Zombie”. One of the best, as he always is, was “Super Freaky Priest Zombie”. I was able to make it out relatively unscathed with some smooches and bites but it was a tonne of fun.

For all you folks that we interviewed, we can’t thank you enough for participating in the taping. We are shipping our tapes off to our editor (In Prague of all places) and hope to have something up within the week. If not, stay tuned. It will go up and you won’t be sorry. Or you will. Either way. Fearhurst, we can’t wait to have you back for next year.
