Romero’s Diary of the Dead. Now With Pictures! The Kind That Don’t Move!

Well well well. Will you looky here? George A. Romero is releasing some pics from his upcoming movie “Diary of the Dead” over on the movie’s myspace page. There is not too much that is spoileriffic here, and not too much is revealed, but we do get an awesome silhouette of an apparently zombified State Trooper.

What excites me most is the idea that this will be Romero’s first completely independant film in over twenty years. There is something about a seasoned filmmaker getting totally pumped about an independant project of theirs that totally gets me revved. Who knows? This could be the crappiest crap movie that ever crapped a crap. Or it could be the most fun I have had with a movie ever. Either way, I am seeing this and you can’t stop me.
